Thomas Rhett Akins Jr was born on March 30th, 1990 in Valdosta, Georgia. The son of award-winning recording artist Rhett Akins, he sings both country and bro-country. 
Akins has been active since 2010 and produces music under the Valory Music Group Label. He has charted five singles from his debut album it goes like this, including the title track, “Get Me Some Of That” and “Make Me Wanna”.
