When military policewoman Helen Taggart gets sent to NATO headquarters in Belgium to help break up a drug ring, she never imagines that the undercover work will lead to a stellar career in the Canadian military—and to a lingering guilt that will follow her for the rest of her life.
Marcelle Dubé's "Out of Belgium" features Major Helen Taggart, a Canadian officer in the military police who must now face the ghosts of her past. Dubé is the author of Shelter, Ghosts of Morocco and the Mendenhall Mystery series, including The Shoeless Kid, The Tuxedoed Man, The Weeping Woman and The Untethered Woman.
About Marcelle Dubé:
Marcelle Dubé grew up near Montreal. After trying out a number of different provinces—not to mention Belgium—she settled in the Yukon, where people still outnumber carnivores, but not by much. Her novels are published by Carina Press and Falcon Ridge Publishing, and her short fiction has appeared in a number of magazines and anthologies.
