It's December 1944 Sgt. Frank Jones and what's left of his squad are waiting for the Germans to attack when they are visited by a voice from the grave. Private Billy O'Connor's fiancé had died in a car accident days earlier when a letter shows up for Billy and it was postdated after his fiancée had been buried. Billy O'Connor is certain that she is staying true to her promise and will be waiting for him when the war is over. His squad mates think he's lost his mind until they are visited by a voice from the grave. It appears Billy O'Connor's fiancé isn’t waiting for the war to end and has come looking for him.
