This issue of AJEMS brings together seven papers that provide new insights and add to our understanding of the contemporary Afrocentric perspective on leadership and organizational development, especially, the dialogue of management activities that promote the relational, critical and constructionist perspectives on leadership and organizational development. The papers discuss the functionalities of various organizational leadership styles, such as administrative leadership, authentic leadership, transactional leadership, and transformational leadership and their contributions to organizational development, from the perspectives of leaders' emotional intelligence and employee creativity, as well as the creation of climate for creativity and work-related flow in specific firms, industries and economies in Africa.
