James Montgomery Boice addresses the importance of affirming biblical inerrancy. He explains what it means, why it should be believed (the Bible teaches inerrancy, Jesus taught it, the church has always believed it, and God's character requires it), and how to address objections to the doctrine (inerrancy is not important, the idea is not biblical, the doctrine is divisive, it is refuted by modern scholarship, it requires arguing in circles, and is a matter on which we can withhold judgment). A basic bibliography rounds out the contents of this booklet.
