"New Frontiers in Engineering Geology and the Environment" collects selected papers presented at the International Symposium on Coastal Engineering Geology (ISCEG-Shanghai 2012). These papers involve many subjects – such as engineering geology, natural hazards, geoenvironment and geotechnical engineering – with a primary focus on geological engineering problems in coastal regions.
