Visions of a young boy named Seth haunt Bristol everywhere she goes. Kept hungry, terrified and alone, Seth’s only companions are the ghosts who come to visit him. 
Bristol and Payne enlist the help of their families to rescue the boy, but generations of a bitter feud leave few willing to trust each other. 
Bristol and Payne are determined to keep Seth safe, even if it means working with the same shadow creatures who want Bristol dead. The people who imprisoned Seth are coming for him. They’re powerful, ruthless and willing to slaughter both families to get him back.
