政客李斯，[2]  以《谏逐客书》得秦王嬴政重用，在破六国、建中央集权、统一文字方面均有功绩。官至丞相。秦始皇死后，他与赵高合谋，迫令公子扶苏自杀，立胡亥为帝。后为赵高所忌，被杀。留美博士钱宁所著《秦相李斯》一书，用现代的视角尽述李斯的一生沉浮，貌似调侃的文字下，是宫廷政事的诡谲多变，人性的冲突与智谋的竞争。（The politician, Li Si [2], was put in an important position by King Ying Zheng of Qin Dynasty with Persuade the King from Expelling Guest Minister.
