The very special purpose David was raised to perform was one of the most dangerous things that a person could possibly do. More often than not it had resulted in the person attempting such being utterly destroyed, and quite painfully. He grew up knowing of this responsibility, this sacred trust. This shaped a very unique individual, one who would eventually hold all power over humanity.
