Hazel has reunited with an old friend from college, a man named Jonathan who now happens to be the owner of the company she works for now.  After a magical reconnection in his office, she ultimately decides it would be for the better to end things before it even starts.

However, fate seems determined to give Jonathan the chance he missed.  And a new man in her life might be exactly what Hazel needs, as circumstances nudge them together.  The only thing halting their progress as a couple is Hazel herself, as she tries to reconcile her past with what the present has offered her now.
