In 1527, several members of the Anabaptist movement (which gave rise to the Amish and Mennonites) gathered secretly in Schleitheim, Switzerland to discuss their beliefs. The result was the Schleitheim Confession, the first Reformation confession of faith. Should their beliefs matter to us? Can they be backed up scripturally?
