Was working at a hospice the right job for a kind, caring person like Kiah? Especially when she struggles with her emotional attachment to these terminally ill patients, daily. His lovely wife refuses to let him care for her and checks herself into a hospice. Gabe is by her side every spare minute of the day and well into the night. Nevertheless, his heart is broken when he isn’t there for his wife’s passing and blames everyone concerned with her care. Especially her assigned nurse Kiah.
