Janet Yale was on a mission, if only she could remember what it was.  A journalist, she was working on a big story only to lose all her notes and her memory of it.  Until a strange man appears and sparks recognition. She'll do anything to keep Kaid close if it will unlock her memory, even assisting him to find something he lost.

As Kaid and Janet work together following clues to where the bridle might be hidden, their attraction grows. Unable to lie to Janet any longer Kaid confesses he is fairy.  Janet remembers her story and his original betrayal. Now she is torn between the man she thought she loved and what she thought she knew. What is real when memories can be erased and horses can turn into men?
