In the late 19th century, during the age of steam, heroes rise and Dr. Xavier Devlin and his creation, Ambrose, aim to stop these from becoming out of control. Dr. Devlin latest creation, a steam powered time machine, will allow him to travel to the past and erase his enemies from existence. But an egotistical hero called Mr. Indestructible may arrive at any moment to stop him. Will Dr. Devlin succeed in his quest?
