Winnie loves her son and would do anything for him, even apply for demeaning jobs, if it means putting a roof over his head. Spending their days in her car, and their nights at a shelter, hasn't been easy, but she does whatever she must to keep him safe, even if it means sleeping with one eye open. She's never asked for a handout, and she's never expected one. Hard work is all she's ever known, but sometimes that isn't enough.
