So what exactly is Minecraft you might ask?

Well, Minecraft is what is known as a sandbox building game. It lets people build and explore a nearly infinite 3D world. It allows players to play the game on their own terms. Some of my friends enjoy exploring all the different maps, while others want to build massive cities and towns. I personally enjoy Survival mode,   exploring my creative side building things while trying to survive.

Minecraft is currently available on the PC as well as various other devices such as the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Android and IOS.  All the editions are a little different, with the PC version being the most sophisticated and having the largest online community.  Minecraft can be played as either a single player or in a multiplayer game mode.

Minecraft is one of those games you can pick up and start having fun with right away, However, this game is incredibly deep and complex taking a long time to truly master. Considering it's one of the best selling games of all time, this is a game that is sure to be around for many years to come.
