After Mac lost his wife six years ago, he settled into his ranch and spent his time rescuing and breeding horses. Now, the loneliness was getting to him and he set out to find a good woman.

Annie was nearly perfect for him. She was more independent than he expected, but she was kind and caring. The fact that she was beautiful didn't hurt either. But, there were times when she bordered on being naive.
