Bella is the victim of cruel experiments by the Lycarn. She is tried and sentenced for killing a Lycarn. Her punishment—exile from Earth. Later she meets up with Darke and his mother, Harmony. When the team Darke has put together to track his father lands on a seemingly uninhabited planet following the lead Darke has, Darke and Bella have more to battle than their potentially fatal attraction to one another.
