Dave and Jesse are doing well together, sharing their lives, sharing a home, healing and loving each other. Then Dave has to take responsibility for his niece over the summer. The two men struggle with how to hide their relationship, take care of a child, and make sure the other man knows he's loved.

When Dave decides to absent himself from the situation, it affects both of them in different ways — and each man more than he'd like. They'll all learn something this summer.
