Dark and dominating, traditional Scot Galen MacBain is intrigued by this outspoken young woman who stirs both his demons and his passions. Galen nurses a secret of his own, a problem which he perceives will be solved by marriage to Kate. But Kate cannot accept his generosity. Though she would be providing her baby with a father and the trappings of wealth, she would be marrying Galen for all the wrong reasons.
