Segis wakes up in a computer shop with no memory of his past. But when he is confronted by a giant talking frog urging him to run he realizes something is horribly wrong. Segis' world was taken over by an entity named The Vacanty and what is left of the world is a never-ending shopping mall inhabited by marionettes; foul creatures made from products that roam the mall in search of Segis.
