Kareem is a boy sitting in class through Black History Month, and he begins to use his imagination as a time machine. The teacher puts a famous black scientist on the board and begins to talk about him. Kareem wonders what life was like in his time, and the adventure begin. Once in his time, Kareem begins to interview the scientist about his career and life.
