This e-book of IJPSM presents six articles on public procurement. Despite their common topic, they come from different disciplinary backgrounds (public administration, economics, international business), from different continents Europe, Africa and Asia (and countries: Netherlands, France, Finland, India, Sweden, and Ghana), and use both quantitative and qualitative research methods. More importantly these six papers examine different assumptions underlying the use of public procurement as a policy tool.
