For an earlier anthology A Rainbow's Feast (2010), when this editor called for submissions, most of the writers who responded were Indians living in the West. "A Continent in Exile?" was what Kaiser Haq, a Bangladeshi poet, remarked after reading the collection. This anthology six years later features short stories from across Asia; one each from Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal and Pakistan; four from the Philippines, five from Singapore and eight from India. It could be a trend or a blimp. In any case, this is an excellent collection.
