In this 301th issue of the Baba Indaba's Children's Stories series, Baba Indaba narrates the legend of the Scottish Jacobite Uprising of 1745, especially retold for children.

After the initial Battle of Prestonpans in September 1745, the following April the Jacobites were engaged in the notorious Battle of Culloden. On 16 April 1746, near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, the Jacobite forces of Charles Edward Stuart were decisively defeated by loyalist troops commanded by William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland. This then is the story of that battle told from the Jacobite perspective.

Baba Indaba is a fictitious Zulu storyteller who narrates children's stories from around the world. Baba Indaba translates as "Father of Stories".

Each issue also has a "WHERE IN THE WORLD - LOOK IT UP" section, where young readers are challenged to look up a place on a map somewhere in the world. The place, town or city is relevant to the story. HINT - use Google maps.
