This is a story written by a mother whose children are in Saudi Arabia. Norah the daughter tells the story about the conditions, history and plight of she and her brother, Ali. "When Will My Mommy Come?" is filled of rich history, customs and traditions of Arabia. It tells of their lifestyle, religious practices, educational training, traveling experiences in America and Arabia with their maternal and fraternal families. Norah takes you on an adventure as she and Ali struggle to survive without their mother being in Arabia. The reader feels what it is like to grow up without being able to see your mother. It tells of the restrictions (limits) in the Arabian governments that hinder the mother from visiting the country and seeing her children.
