African has a rich culture in terms of languages, idioms, social lives, and general behavior. However, with the current globalization, most of the moral values and the originality of Africans are under threat of extinction. Most of the cultural values such as proverbs and dialects, which are passed from generation for centuries, might be affected if nothing is done as soon as possible. Proverbs are used as palm oil with which words are eaten, so written by a great African author, China Achebe. Proverbs are used by Africans to celebrate, advise, inspire, and to deliver messages. It is also used to illustrate ideas, reinforce arguments, and as a means of consolation when necessary. This book will serve as a bridge between the ancient and modern, link the old with the young, and improve the global knowledge about African rich culture.
