Daisuke's new assignment has him chasing away pirates on the Malacca Strait aboard the Daiko. The problem worsens when the pirates decide to head for deep waters with those they have kidnapped. Our hero diver Daisuke is the one who is sent out to rescue them. Suddenly, he hears the reverberating sound of gunfire. The ship's navigating officer Ikezawa has been killed in the line of duty. What is Daisuke to do after watching one of senior crew members be killed? Will he discover what the meaning of life actually is?
