An unidentified ship has entered Japanese waters an is causing quite an uproar all over the country. Daisuke Senzaki is of course on the front lines of the confrontation as the first sniper the Coast Guard has had in 46 years. Things are cleaned up well enough and Daisuke is on his way home aboard the Nagare when the patrol ship comes across a huge accident while traveling through the Kanmon Channel. Daisuke becomes trapped along with the two crew members he set out to rescue as the ship goes up in flames. It is there that he discovered how important having a strong will to live is!
