The book, INDIA AND HERNEIGHBOURS : TOWEARDS A PROACTIVE PARTNERSHIP, analyses the emerging contours of India's foreign policy vis-a-vis its neighbours. India needs a closer relationship with its immediate neighbours as the small countries in the neighbourhood consider India as a viable partner. Focusing on the re-orientation of the Indian foreign policy in the context of its neighbours: Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh Sri Lanka, Maldives, Afghanistan and Pakistan, the book highlights facets of relationship with national interests as the central foci.
