يقال دائما ان الفيل لا ينسى ولعل الحكاية التالية تؤكد انه لا ينسي الاحسان مهما طال الزمن فقد حدث ذات مرة ان صيادكان يسير في احدي غابات افريقيا عندما فوجئ بقطيع من الفيلة يقترب ناحيته وكان معه احدي المرشدين من الوطنيين فاسرع المرشد الي شجرة قريبة تسلقها قرارا من الفيلة وفعل الصياد مثله
