The story of a father's bipolar illness as seen through the eyes of his very young daughter. UP DADDY DOWN DADDY will interest anyone who has ever loved with such an illness. Parallel to the narrator's story is that of the Boston Red Sox and their own manic depressive history set the father's in greater relief.
