"ROAD TO RECOVERY - New Techniques for Healing:

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Gulf War Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Depression, Chronic Yeast Infection, Obesity, Alcoholism, Celiac Disease, with Spiritual Insights for the Chronically Ill."

"Road to Recovery - New Techniques for Healing," is a book by Marc Herlands, JD, and is the author's autobiographical experiences, thoughts and insights on the causes and remedies for his Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Gulf War Syndrome, Depression, Chronic Yeast Infection, Obesity, Internal Alcoholism, Celiac Disease, Mycoplasma, Heavy Metal Poisoning, and Spiritual Insights he learned while he was chronically ill for 38 years with these illnesses.

The book describes the fascinating story of a man whose professional life as a young Jewish attorney in Cleveland, Ohio was ruined at the age of 27 because of his Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in 1974, and how he found (1) the underlying causes of his illnesses after 17 years of searching, and (2) what he did to regain his health during the next 21 years of medicinal and holistic treatments.

Surprisingly, it was the removal of his silver/mercury fillings in his teeth and the use of hydro-colon therapy which began his Road to Recovery and sustained him on long way back to health.

The book presents many causes of the author's illnesses, which were based upon over 75 medical tests which are listed in his book. The author reveals what he learned while he consulted with over 100 doctors and healers during his 38 year medical ordeal.

The author reveals his General Plan for Recovery in Chapter

58.

It took the medical establishment 17 years to properly diagnose the

primary, secondary and tertiary causes of his illnesses, and another

21 years to help him totally recover by using various holistic and medicinal treatments.

The Primary Cause was Celiac Disease, which was his body's inability to digest wheat and other grains that contained the same gluten found in rye, barley and oats.

The Second Cause was the poisonous accumulation of toxic heavy metals, such as mercury, lead, nickel, vanadium and cadmium, throughout his body. Because he was not able to digest wheat and those other grains which contained the same offending gluten (celiac disease), the author's body did not excrete, but actually accumulated, toxic levels of heavy metals.

Over time the effect was to poison the author's body, cells, organs and lymph system.

The Third Cause was from the toxic effects of heavy metals. The heavy metals ruined the author's immune system, which then permitted serious pathogens to proliferate throughout his body, such as yeast, fungus, flukes, viruses, bacterias and mycoplasmas —- which almost destroyed his life.

The author explains how chronic yeast and fungal infections contributed to his mental confusion, brain fog, balance problems, allergic reactions, obesity, hypoglycemia, and internally generated alcoholism.

Chronic yeast infections and heavy metal poisoning also led to disorders of his brain, kidneys, adrenal glands, and colon.

He explains differences between Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Depression. He shares how he developed a new technique of Popping Fibromyalgia Points of Pain. He shares what he learned about Prolotherapy and the use of Guifenisen for reducing Fibromyalgia.

The author shares his belief that Gulf War Syndrome may be caused in large part by a Biological Weapon of Mass Destruction, which was created and patented by a scientist working for the U.S. government at Ft. Dietrich, in Maryland.

He also shares how one 80 year old woman...
