Suppose you made a visit to the Holy Land, and discovered that you had the power to

heal the sick and raise the dead. That's what happens to thirty-three-year-old Jacob, in my

24,000-word novella Last Chance, a spiritual-thriller set amongst the most holy sites of

Christendom.

Jacob has always been different; able to see into people's innermost souls, even as a

young child. But when he and his close friend, Pastor Michael Abrams, make a

pilgrimage to Israel, Jacob discovers, to his amazement, that his visit has been foretold.

Miriam, a mysterious young woman, has been waiting for him, convinced that he is the

Chosen Messenger; divinely selected to prove once and for all that Jesus is the Son of

God. As Jacob, Michael, and Miriam track the footsteps of Christ, Jacob begins to have

stunning visions of Jesus' final days and to demonstrate many of his miraculous abilities.

The quest ultimately leads the three friends to Turin, Italy, where Jacob is inexorably

drawn to uncover the secrets of the fabled Shroud of Turin. But as a dark and lethal

conspiracy begins to simmer around him, time may be running out for Jacob to fulfill his

purpose. If he fails, is this the 'Last Chance' for mankind?

My inspiration in writing Last Chance was my strong faith and love for Jesus as my

savior. When I began writing the book, it was simply to express my own feelings but as

the story began to take on the twists and turns of a thriller, I realized that it could become

an inspiration to others as well; both believers and non-believers. I hope that I may send

you the manuscript.
