It would have been a great legacy builder: The Engineered Killing Machine. Half animal, half machine, all deadly. Thousands would be ordered by the U.S. military and the Institute would make hundreds of millions of dollars. The Director would be lauded as a genius and a patriot, and would retire in a blaze of glory. As the first few "E-KIM" was rolled out, The Director beamed like a proud father. But something had gone wrong. Upset that his work had gone into developing a weapon instead of a humanitarian super-being, the Master Programmer intended to have the last say. He would re-program the brain of the "E-KIMs" to give them a seemingly psychic perception of negative energy, and the will to destroy it. Once he learns what has happened, the Director sets about to correct the situation, while also using the E-KIMs to settle the score with the person he detests more than anything.
