He’s Cool. He’s a Dectective. He’s a Kid!! Kid Caramel—private investigator and all-around cool fifth-grade sleuth—along with his sidekick, Earnie, visit their city museum to check out the Crystal Ankh, an icon from an ancient legend that has at last been found by an African prince. The citizens of Tanwood gather around to view it for the first time—when suddenly the Ankh is gone! But Kid Caramel is on the case. He’s already noticed that there are some pretty weird things going on at the museum, things that probably shouldn’t be going on at any museum. Now it’s up to Caramel and Earnie to find out who stole the precious Ankh—in this fast moving adventure featuring two clever African-American boys save the day.
