Alexandra Benton's parents have recently died in a car accident and now the 17 year old high school senior must finish out the school year in Los Angeles, a big jump from her home town of Oxford, NC. After settling in with her strange but lovable Aunt Katie, her eyes are opened to a family secret handed down from generation to generation.
