Ghetto born Demi Rodriquez, a beautiful half-black half-Puerto Rican bombshell enjoys her lavish lifestyle. Unfortunately, she gets a taste of the broke life when her drug-dealing boyfriend gets sent to prison. In an instant, Demi is forced right back into her mother's cramped housing project in Harlem. Soon, everyday becomes a struggle and an emotional battleground until she meets a handsome movie producer from Los Angeles who thinks she has the sex appeal to make it to the top.
