吴越，原名吴佩珏，曾用笔名王玉。副编审。男，1932年５月12日出生，浙江省缙云县人。1946年开始文学创作，1947年参加中国青年文艺研究会，任嘉兴分会会长，主编《青年文艺》周刊。1949年６月考入中国人民解放军二野军大三分校新闻系，毕业后在重庆军管会任接管工作员、西南空军司令部通信参谋及文化干事等职。1952年7 月转业到地方，任上海市行政干部学校教育干事。1954年7 月调北京，先后任《光明日报·文字改革》专刊编辑、文字改革出版社编辑；1957年错划为右派，1979年改正后先后任科学普及出版社编辑、中国戏剧出版社副编审。1992年年底离休。是民盟成员、中国俗文学学会常务理事、中国大众文学学会理事、中国作家协会会员、中国民间文艺家协会会员、浙江省缙云县文联名誉主席。 (Wu Yue, primitive name Wu Peiyu, pen name Wang Yu, Associate Senior Editor, male, born on May 12th of 1932 in Jinyun County of Zhejiang Province. He started literary creation since 1946. In 1947, he joined Research Society of China Youth Literature and Art as director of Jiaxing branch; he was the chief editor of weekly Youth Literature and Art. In June of 1949, he was enrolled into School of Journalism of Dasan Campus of the Second Field Army of P.L.A; after graduation, he worked as the worker of Chongqing Military Control Commission and communication staff officer & cultural director-general of Southwest Air Command. In July of 1952, he was transferred to local civilian work as education officer of Shanghai Administrative Cadre School. In July of 1954, he was transferred to Beijing and worked as editor of Guangming Daily - Reform of Characters and Character Reform Press subsequently. In 1957, he was mistakenly classified as the Right Wing; after correction in 1979, he worked as editor of Popular Science Press and associate senior editor of China Drama Press successively; in 1992, he retired completely; he is the member of China Democratic League, executive member of the council of Chinese Institute of Folk Literature, member of a council of Popular Literature Society of China, member of China Writers Association, member of Chinese Folk Literature and Art Association, honorary president of Jinyun Literary Federation in Zhejiang province.)
