Clancy lives with his family in a small country town near the Woomera rocket range, which also happens to be where his father works.

His father takes him to the rocket range to show him a chimpanzee they are about to send into space.

When an asteroid starts approaching Earth, missiles are sent up to destroy it. The asteroid is partly destroyed and misses Earth, but the moon is hit instead.

And now the moon is losing its orbit around Earth.

It's a disaster. And Clancy is their only hope. To travel into space to save the moon. And Earth.

But there is something strange up there in space.
