Will Black is an adult male in the American Autonomous Region of China. Forced to watch as the wife of a Chinese administrator murdered his father when he was a young boy, Will Black has never forgotten, and he has never forgiven. Will is a member of the resistance. Every American is forced to wear a Chinese designed pain belt, and see a Chinese counselor once a week. Will's old counselor Mr. Wu was a decent man, his new counselor Miss Lin is a psycho who seems likely to torture him to death. Will asks his resistance team to find a way to get him into Miss Lin's apartment for he has to kill her before she kills him.
