The Immigrant is an informative book. It is a journalistic work based on real events. It tells the story of Mara, who experienced a history of domestic violence and immigrated to the USA with the hope of saving her son in order to not repeat her story. After more than twenty years, she overcame many obstacles and graduated in law. She is dedicated to defending the rights of the immigrants.
