When a probationary police officer is shot point-blank through the forehead at home, forensic engineer Dr. Anja Toussaint determines the ensuing house fire resulted from arson – always a convenient way to destroy clues.The victim's sister claims the murderer is another police officer but refuses to trust the authorities with any information.
