I wrote over 350 poems over the past 12 years. During high school, I scribbled one or two down almost every single day for years, because poetry helped me vent my frustrations. Poetry helped me survive heartbreak, betrayal, bitterness and unfulfilled longing.Now, more than ten years later, I present to you a collection of my favorite poems over the years. Each of the following poems were written from the heart, during dark or stressful times in my life. I'm a fiction author, but poems have always been able to unlock something magical inside me.
