Liz A. Stratton is the kind of woman who regularly gets letters asking her to run for president: she's the host of a Spare Me! a wildly popular national talk show. Plus, she's edgy, beautiful, and doesn't take crap from anyone. However, she never expected her friend Cal, the head of a women's rights organization, to actually ask her to run. Even though she said "yes," Liz and her team don't think they actually have a chance at winning the election. Then she is invited to a national debate. Things go well at first, but then an opponent makes the mistake of patronizing Liz about her plans to end the war in Mesopotamianstan. She sees red, and an idea flashes into her mind. She asks every woman in the United States to stop having sex until the war is over. Period. The men in the audience and watching on television all realize with a sense of dread that Liz isn't joking. And that's when the fun begins...
