A gang of notorious outlaws led by Cain Vender is causing mayhem in Sweetwater County. Their depredations are threatening to overrun the whole of Wyoming. Special agent Drew Henry is reluctant to come out of retirement until he learns that his brother has been killed by the gang. Working undercover as a bar tender, Cole effectively stymied the gang's attempt to rob a bank in a neighbouring county. But he paid the ultimate price for his success. Drew adopts the persona of a deceased train robber to infiltrate the gang. But a conflict of interest in the delectable form of Ruth Vender threatens to overshadow his subterfuge.
