This ebook contains a sampling of qualitative, ethnographic research - auto-, duo-, and collaborative-work, which attempts in a small way to continue to carve out space and appreciation for such work. The papers and their subject matter varies - the international authors, their contexts, and their worldviews differ from one another. But each exhibits a care for understanding over factual knowledge, of nuanced rather than formulaic writing, and of the value of delicate relationships between and among contemporary human beings. Topics include: an exploration of relational ethics in queer autoethnographic research, the search for truth in duoethnographic method, an account of the 'sisterhood' - four female voices from Latin America in a collaborative autoethnography, an study into academic malpractice suite within the ethnographic context, a story from the co-production field, a visual auto-ethnography about gardening, and a contribution regarding the promises and pitfalls of autoethnography as a commitment to care.
