Deep in the heart of Samburu Territory, Lionel the lion decides he doesn't want to be the King of Beast anymore. He proclaims that "FOREVER AND ALWAYS" he will be a giraffe and ends up with a mouth full of thorns. He tries life as an elephant and a monkey as well and learns maybe being a lion wasn't so bad after all. In a richly textured story echoing with African drums and calls of the animals in the wild, Lionel teaches children the power of being "true to yourself".
