Arsalan, a Pakistani student, wins a chance to be educated in Cold War America and begins a rise to the tip-top of the US foreign policy establishment, the National Security Council. Two beautiful women are strangely helpful to him, insinuating themselves into his life and his bed. An FBI agent, Hank, discovers that the women are Soviet spies, eager to pry secrets from Arsalan by whatever means necessary. Meanwhile, Arsalan confronts a force almost as relentless as the Soviet spy network— his mother's will.
