Tithing is the basis that is used by certain predators that gives them the opportunity to bear their fangs and go for the throat of good and liberal-hearted Christians! Because of the magnitude of this problem, it is imperative they we, as Christians, become faithful stewards of God's money. If you are a persistent and faithful tither, it is very commendable that you are giving generously to the church. However, it is important that you understand that tithing was an Old Testament mandate that was practiced by some, not all of the Jews, and is not in any way applicable to us as Christians, today.
